CLUBMANS 2023 CHAMPIONSHIP CALENDAR
The 2023 Clubmans Sports Prototypes Calendar consists of 6 weekends of circuit racing on 6 different layouts. In total there are 18 races in the Championship and every race counts. There are no drop scores. This season starts on the Silverstone National circuit in April, with a Clubmans festival weekend at Anglesey in May.






1) Silverstone National 15/16 April (3 races)

Home of the Formula One British Grand Prix, Silverstone is one of the most recognised circuits in the world. With 3 different circuit configurations the Clubmans Sports Prototypes race on the Silverstone National layout this year.
With such a short lap time, the field is always closely packed here, which creates super competitive racing. Like in the British Touring Car Championship, a mistake here can cost a driver a number of places.

2) Anglesey Coastal - 20/21 May (4 races)

Set on the west coast of Anglesey, overlooking the Irish Sea and the Snowdonia mountain range beyond, Anglesey Circuit provides visitors with a challenging and exciting circuit in a breathtaking location.
Many drivers will be new to this fast and technical track, where weather always likes to play its part. Clubmans have four races here, so plenty of time to get to grips with the track. With big social plans for their festival weekend it can only mean that this weekend will be a whole lot of fun.

3) Snetterton 300 - 03/04 June (3 races)

CSP2 lap record: Michelle Hayward, 1:59.9
Like so many circuits in the UK, Snetterton in Norfolk started life as an air base before hosting circuit racing in the early 1950’s. It is one of the longest and most challenging circuits, with 12 turns and a mixture of technical and fast sections.
It has always produced fantastic racing with the circuit layout providing a vast number of overtaking opportunities.

4) Donington National 15/16 July (3 races)

Set in the derbyshire countryside, Donington Park is a a wonderful undulating high speed circuit that favours the brave.
It will be exciting to measure the improvement that Michelle and the team make here, after her first ever CSP1 race drive was frustrated by engine issues last October.

5) Oulton Park International 12 August (2 races)

Oulton Park circuit is renowned for being one of the most picturesque circuits in the UK, set in park grounds of the former country estate of Oulton Hall which burned down in 1926. Characterised by rapidly changing gradients, blind crests and several tight corners and chicanes. This fast and challenging circuit is quite narrow with little runoff, unforgiving and utterly thrilling.

6) Brands Hatch Indy - 17/18 September (3 races)

CSP1 lap record target : 0:46.59 Clive Wood
CSP2 lap record: Michelle Hayward, 0:49.22
Clubmans Sports Prototypes return to Brands Hatch to compete at the Ford Power Festival weekend on the Indy circuit.
With thousands of car enthusiasts attending the event the circuit comes alive. It is such a short lap time the races are incredibly busy, with the race leaders soon catching the slower CSP3 cars.
